Travel by HarborBus through the overseas harbors, simultaneously enjoying the city tour along the ocean mile of Bremerhaven.
The city by the sea has a maritime side that has so far remained hidden even from the majority of Bremerhaven’s population. But that’s history now.
The HafenBus travels through the overseas harbors, via the impressive Container Terminal and the Automobile Terminal with the "high and Heavy Area" in the northern part of the city. In the past, due to security reasons no access to this industrial-commercial terrain was possible for interested visitors. But this problem has been solved. One of the most fascinating sections of the harbor can now be admired at close range by our guests.
Departure times: from March 19th - November 1st, 2010
- Mo. - Fr. 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Sa./Su./official holiday** 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Station 1. Shop Window Fishery Harbour (above mentioned departure time), Exit: Station Fishing Village (Fischerdorf)
Station 2. National German Maritim Museum respectively 10 minutes after departure 1.

Fares/Conditions 2010:
- Adults € 10,00
- Children and teenager (aged 4-17)/students/disabled persons € 8,50
- Animals (dog) € 3,00
- Families (2 adults + 2 children) € 25,00 (each additional child + € 3,00)
- Groups more than12 persons 5% discount, groups more than 25 persons 10 % discount.
- Charter and special travels on request (max 80 persons € 490,00).
The „HafenBus“ can accommodate up to two wheel chairs per tour. Please name your requirements at the time of booking.
Tickets upon availability in the tourist information at the latest 20 minutes before departure or directly at the bus starting from 15 minutes before departure! We strongly recommend reservation.
Important note: Visitors must hold a valid ID while staying in the international port area.
